This hauntingly, serene and beautiful piece of art has has been created using the Verre Eglomise technique, otherwise known as Reverse Glass Painting.
Reverse painting on glass is an art form consisting of applying paint to a piece of glass and then viewing the image by turning the glass over and looking through the glass at the image. The effects of this are stunning and gives the art piece a depth of colour that cannot be achieved by traditional painting methods.
The art piece has been mounted in a decorative, antiqued silver, frame and measures 76cm high and 125cm wide.
